Ingredients: 1cup besan, 1/4 cup maida, 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1 cup dahi /curd, 4 cup water, 1 tsp oil, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 4-5 tbsp chopped coriander, 1-2 chopped green chillies, 4-5 tbsp grated fresh coconut,1 tbsp pomegranate seeds.(fresh)




1. Mix besan, curd, maida, water, salt, turmeric powder & water. Beat it to smooth paste & stain it.
2. Place it in a heavy bottom pan and cook on medium flame till the mixture thicken.
3. Stir it along to avoid lump formation. When it thickens
4. With the help of a flat katori spread at the back of a thali.
5. Cut into 2” broad strips.
For tempering:
6. Heat oil & add mustard seeds till they crackle.
7. Add chopped green chillies & pepper & salt.
8. Pour over khandavi.
9. Sprinkle grated coconut, coriander & fresh pomegranate seeds.
10. Roll the strips & serve with chutney.
